“Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.”
“I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?”
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
We are children of God and He desires spiritual growth and development in us.
Every parent wants the proper development of their child on a progressive level.
Our walk in love is a mark of growth while toxicity in our relationships is a sign of spiritual maturity.
Let us put away childish things and grow up.
