2176 Open my eyes Lord

Wednesday, June 24, 2020 | Open my eyes Lord |Sister Olivia Kiwagama

That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection Phil 3:10 (entire chapter). With humility forgetting the past and your own accomplishments. The reality of depending on the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth (the reality of God). Forgetting yourself (crucifying yourselves) and focus on being like Christ (transformed into His image). It’s a lifelong University of God let’s enroll.

Our prayers should be

  • able to see well knowing/discern right and wrong (Ephesian 1:17-23) my people perish for lack of knowledge
  • able to know what pleases the Lord or not eg 7 things he hates proverbs 6:16-19 love what he loves and hate what He hates
  • So that we’re not deceived or not fall into the traps of the enemy
  • to know and understand spiritual authority and warfare putting on the whole armor (spiritual PPE). Understanding the tactics of the enemy eg pride, strife, offenses etc opens doors for the enemy. Those sins/things make us weak spiritually and vulnerable to the enemy Ephesians 2:6, 6:10
  • To know the love of Christ how wide, how long, how high and how deep it is Ephesians 3:16-19
  • To know the will of God and Bear much fruit Colossians 1:9-10 so that our lives honor Him and please Him resulting in being His advertisement. That all flesh will know that I am your savior, redeemer the mighty one of Israel. Isaiah 49:26

Key Scriptures: Ephesians 1:17-23, Ephesians 2:6, 6:10, Ephesians 3:16-19, Colossians 1:9-10, Isaiah 49:26
